Terms and Conditions
Effective 8 October 2026
Acceptance
By using cadsmit.com (the “Site”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. “CADsmit”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of the Site; “you” means anyone visiting it.
What the Site provides
CADsmit is a free video course on Autodesk Inventor 2027. Lectures are hosted on YouTube and embedded here, alongside lecture notes, timestamps and a course assistant. No account or payment is needed. We may add, change or remove lectures and features at any time without notice.
Personal, educational use
You may watch the lectures and use the materials to learn, and teachers may show or link them in their classes. You may not:
- Download, re-upload or redistribute the videos or materials as your own, or sell access to them.
- Copy the Site, its transcripts or notes in bulk, or scrape it with automated tools.
- Interfere with the Site, its course assistant or its ads — including generating invalid ad clicks or impressions.
- Use the Site for anything unlawful.
Ownership
The lectures, thumbnails, notes, transcripts, CADsmit name and logo belong to CADsmit. Using the Site doesn’t transfer any of these rights to you.
Autodesk and Inventor are registered trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. CADsmit is an independent course and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Autodesk.
Course assistant and quizzes
The course assistant generates answers with AI, using the lecture transcripts as its source. Answers can be incomplete or wrong — check them against the lecture before relying on them. Don’t enter personal or confidential information into the chat. See the privacy policy for how messages are processed.
Lesson quizzes are also written by AI from the transcripts. Quiz results and progress are stored only in your browser. They are a study aid, not a qualification or certificate.
YouTube and other third parties
Videos play through YouTube and are also subject to YouTube’s Terms of Service. The Site shows ads served by Google AdSense and links to other websites. We aren’t responsible for third-party content, products or practices.
No guarantees
The course is provided “as is”, for learning. We work to keep it accurate, but software changes and mistakes happen. We don’t guarantee that the content is error-free, suitable for any particular project, or that the Site will always be available. Engineering decisions based on the course are your responsibility — verify designs against the applicable standards and your own professional judgement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, CADsmit is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or work, arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.
